This style of pottery is from late period Byzantine Serres. The shape of the bowl is often seen in Middle Eastern and Byzantine forms.
All of these bowls are low-fired. I formulate the glaze to look like period glazes, but made with chemicals that are safe to eat and drink from.
This bowl and plate are smaller than the previous bowls. the uneven application of the green and yellow is very typical of the Byzantine ceramic designs.
